Who is Tybalt in Romeo and Juliet?​

Michael York as Tybalt in the 1968 film. Sometimes seen as the male antagonist of the play, Tybalt is a key character in comprehending the true extent of the feud between the two houses. He is Lady Capulet’s nephew, Juliet’s short-tempered cousin, and Romeo’s rival.
Who is the antagonist in Romeo and Juliet?
He is the nephew of Lord and Lady Capulet, the cousin of Juliet, the rival of Romeo Montague and one of the most prominent antagonists of the play – after his death, Lord Capulet displaces the late Tybalt as the primary antagonist. He constantly likes to pick fights to defend his honor and take revenge on those who offend him.
Why is tytybalt the main antagonist?
Tybalt was Jason Statham’s very first animated film character that he voiced, not counting his video game characters. Due to his (accidental) smashing at the end of the first half, the Terrafirminator takes over as the main antagonist during film’s climax, once it goes out of control and starts destroying everything.

How does Tybalt feel about the Montagues?​

He is Lady Capulet’s nephew, Juliet’s short-tempered cousin, and Romeo’s rival. Tybalt is very protective and loyal and will go to great lengths fulfilling his duties to his family. He feels a great sense of hatred towards the Montagues because he feels like they are a danger to the Capulets.

Tybalt’s appearance is immediate, as he first debuts in Act 1 Scene 1. He is a man with a fiery temper and a passionate member of the Capulet house. Tybalt is very protective of Juliet’s honor and is very insistent on the “rules” of the feud, as in, no house can meddle in any other house.
Why does Tybalt say I’ll not endure him?
I’ll not endure him. Lord Capulet: He shall be endured.” Tybalt informs his uncle that Romeo is at the party and he wishes to take action against him and is shot down by a Lord Capulet who is, perhaps, mindful of the warning issued to the families earlier that day that further fighting would result in executions.
What does the death of Mercutio and Tybalt mean?

He says to his enemy: Staying for thine to keep him company. Because Romeo and Tybalt are responsible for the death of Mercutio, Romeo says that one of their souls must accompany his to the next life. Romeo kills Tybalt to avenge the death of Mercutio at the hand of Tybalt.
