What is the difference between diazepam 5mg and 10mg?​

Diazepam Tablets USP 5 mg are scored, round, yellow tablets imprinted DAN 5619 and 5 supplied in bottles of 100, 500 and 1000. Diazepam Tablets USP 10 mg are scored, round, blue tablets imprinted DAN 5620 and 10 supplied in bottles of 100, 500 and 1000.
How many times can you take diazepam in a day?
The standard dosage is 10 mg taken by mouth three to four times during the first 24 hours. This will be reduced to 5 mg taken three to four times per day as needed, based on withdrawal symptoms. This drug hasn’t been studied in children and shouldn’t be used in children under the age of 6 months.

What are the active and inactive ingredients in diazepam?​

Diazepam is available for oral administration as tablets containing 2 mg, 5 mg or 10 mg Diazepam. In addition to the active ingredient Diazepam, each tablet contains the following inactive ingredients: anhydrous lactose, magnesium stearate and microcrystalline cellulose. Diazepam Tablets USP 5 mg also contain D&C Yellow No. 10.
What are the side effects of diazepam tablets?
Diazepam tablets can make you sleepy, forgetful, have poor co-ordination along with other side effects that can affect everyday activities (see Possible side effects). You should not drive, operate machinery or take part in such activities where, if affected, you could put yourself or others at risk.

Can I take 2 diazepam at the same time?​

You could take two of those tablets – it won’t harm you, as long as you don’t try to drive afterwards. In short, Diazepam is extremely effective at calming you down, but only if used on rare occasions. If you take it every day, you will get used to it and you will need more and more to get the same effect.
