Is a miniature schnauzer right for You?

A Miniature Schnauzer may not be right for you. Keep in mind that the inheritance of temperament is less predictable than the inheritance of physical traits such as size or shedding. Temperament and behavior are also shaped by raising and training.
How much should a 2 month old Miniature Schnauzer puppy weigh?
During the first 2 weeks, the puppies will double their birth weight. At one month Mini Schnauzer puppies weigh anywhere from 1 ½ to 2 ½ pounds. By 2 months, puppies will have doubled their size yet again, weighing in at 3 to 5 pounds. Photo of Miniature Schnauzer SAMSON at 2 months old weighing in at 4 pounds.

Are Miniature Schnauzers introverts or extroverts?

The problem is that it’s not very helpful to speak generally about this breed, because individual Miniature Schnauzers vary so much in personality. You’ll find some who are serious, some who are goofballs, some who are extroverted, some who are introverted.
How do you take care of a senior Schnauzer?
Even with conditioning, pay close attention to any changes in breathing or any changes in gait when the dog is exercising. Keep high quality food and fresh clean water in easily accessible areas for your senior Schnauzer. They may have difficulty in getting around the house, so keep one room with all the basic necessities in it for the dog.

The Giant Schnauzer, as you may have guessed, is both the largest and least intelligent of the three sizes. Weighing in at 60 to 80 pounds and towering up to 28 inches tall at the shoulder, these dogs are huge, and there’s no denying it. Though they’re ranked the 35th smartest dog breed, they’re not far behind the Miniature and Standard variation.
How fast do Miniature Schnauzers learn new commands?
Miniature Schnauzers were placed in the “bright dogs” group. Dog breeds in this class are able to learn a new command with just 5 to 15 repetitions, which means they’re capable of learning a new command in 30 minutes!
