The Alaskan Malamute is among the oldest of the sled dog breeds of the Arctic. They are believed to be a descendant of the domesticated wolf-dogs who accompanied the Paleolithic hunters that crossed the land bridges of the Bering Strait and migrated into North America roughly 4,000 years ago.

The Alaskan Malamute is a domestic dog breed that originated from Alaska and mostly known to be one of the oldest sled dogs. It’s a large dog at about 22 to 26 inches tall, weighing between 71 to 95 pounds.

Are You in love with the Malamute breed?​

We love the Malamute breed and our puppies and parents are raised in a family setting. 8 of our 10 grandchildren live within walking distance and play with all of our Malamutes, a lot. We are on our 4th sire with Palmers Arctic Tundra just retiring this year.
